Mama Meg's Parent Support Groups
You Are Not Alone
A Place to Build Community
Mama Meg's Parent Support Group is a circle of support for parents and caregivers of babies ages 0-6 months.
Each circle is a space to use our collective wisdom to support one another in parenting and personal growth. I will facilitate each 2 hour session, creating a safe space for you to be in parent solidarity with one another.
Upcoming Groups
What: Mama Meg's Queer Parent Support Group is a circle of support for LGBTQ+ parents and caregivers of babies ages 0-6 months.
When: Group begins on Thursday, October 17th from 11am - 1pm and will meet for 6 Thursdays, through November 21st.
Where: We will meet at Loving Arms Childbirth Services in Emeryville, in their cozy indoor meeting space that looks like a living room, and also has a changing table and a tea/snack station.
How: In each facilitated 2 hour session, you will have a safe space to share, go deep and build meaningful connections as you navigate the tender first months of parenthood. I will weave in brief guided meditations and simple rituals to help you process the experience of becoming a parent. We will explore themes relevant to new parents and dive into the unique challenges and wins that are coming up in your parenting journey.
There will be herbal tea, and a light brunch (usually bagels, cream cheese, fruit) tailored to your dietary restrictions.
Cost: A sliding scale fee of 380-140 per person for the full 6 week session is kindly requested, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. You can Venmo me to register @Meghan-Elliott-11. Please email me with any questions: meg@mamamegsgroups.com.
Covid: Our Covid policy is one of group comfort: as long as all feel comfortable, we will meet indoors with 2 air filters running and windows open. Participants are asked to stay home if they are sick. If you feel uncomfortable with any part of this, please reach out.
